SWEET BRIAR COTTAGE
2010
I built a Storybook Cottage in the foothills of the Rocky Mountain.
I built the arched front door out of knotty alder. The rolled-over eves, the gherkin-head and rolled-over gables, the seawave shingles work together to imitate thatching. A 'Juliet' balcony, interior beams, custom-tiled fireplace, the interior trim worked to add charm to the European feel of the Cottage. The cottage has many architectural details, all finely handcrafted.
RIDGEÂ DECK
November 2018
For this project I replaced an 8x55 foot deck. I worked with the city for the permit process. Beams underneath needed shored up and new footers put in place. The customer was highly satisfied with the speed in which the project was done and found other projects for me to do.
LITTLE CABIN IN THE WOODS
September 2017
The interior of a historic cabin needed a complete renovation.
New flooring was laid, new cabinetry installed, a fresh coat of paint over logs, chinking touched up, bathroom completely remodeled, new shower was designed and built, new stair railing and front deck were added.
The cabin looked 'Instagram-perfect' when we were done.
